Our workshop has extensive experience in building spatial environments, exhibitions and scenography of high quality. We always take the exhibition’s purpose and content as our starting point and work closely with you to ensure that every solution is functional, aesthetically sound and safe for both objects and visitors.
By combining the expertise of our craftsmen with the experience of our producers, and drawing on a strong network of other specialists, we can take responsibility for the entire process – from idea and concept to the finished experience.
Whether it is a small display or a complex, large-scale environment, we build solutions that are well-crafted, durable and clearly anchored in the assignment. And when an exhibition is set to travel, our colleagues in Fine Art manage the logistics, packing and installation – both within the Nordic region and internationally.

In collaboration with ExpologyWe produced and installed several of the spatial environments and custom-built elements in the exhibition. Through close collaboration with Expology, the design concepts were translated into durable and well-crafted constructions on site.

We plan, structure, produce packaging materials and manage logistics flows. We perform function testing and configure and pack items for safe transportation.

With specially designed vehicles and qualified personnel, we transport sensitive goods throughout the Nordic region and the rest of the world.
Efter
We ensure that your items reach all the way to use through services such as unpacking, installation and positioning. We also offer removal and recycling of packaging.

Storage and Warehousing
We store particularly sensitive objects in climate-controlled and temperature-controlled facilities with extra high security. Although the physical facilities provide the basic conditions for good storage, we know that it is the handling process that makes the greatest difference. We have storage facilities in Stockholm, Gothenburg, Malmö, Copenhagen, Horsens, Oslo and Helsinki.

When you need to move sensitive and valuable objects, you can rest assured that MTAB is the right partner for the job. For us, transportation is not simply a matter of moving an item from A to B; the key is HOW the transportation is performed.

Art Handling
We offer many different types of art handling services. In addition to worldwide transportation, our specially designed art storage facilities and our own packing technology department, we also offer conservator services, an exhibition service and services for project management and customs clearance.

Installation
By handing over the responsibility for installing and configuring your products to us, you can streamline your transport from order to the machine’s first hour of operation. Every day we carry out a number of mechanical installations of products for a wide variety of industries.

Packing Technology
We design and manufacture custom-made packaging and transport crates that protect artworks and other fragile objects during transport and storage.

With more than 50 years of experience in the field of logistics for sensitive and valuable objects, MTAB has built up a solid knowledge bank with regard to various challenges and solutions. By utilising MTAB’s long experience, you create conditions for accessing the skills and knowledge you need, when you need them.
