When works of art are to be transported, naturally there is a need for specially adapted vehicles with constant climate and temperature control.
Specially adapted for art
Our fleet also includes vehicles with extra high cargo area and vehicles with double courier seats, security systems and extra long tail lift to enable transportation of particularly heavy and/or large objects. As always, however, the most important element of safe art transportation is how the object is handled. Our specially trained drivers and our packing technology experts create the best possible conditions for safe transportation of your valuable items from start to finish. We also offer transportation of entire exhibitions in the Nordic region, Europe and the rest of the world.

We offer many different types of art handling services. In addition to worldwide transportation, our specially designed art storage facilities and our own packing technology department, we also offer conservator services, an exhibition service and services for project management and customs clearance.

Handling art involves much more than basic storage. We meet all climate, security and temperature requirements, and we can also offer many other services.

Conservatory services
By offering conservator services, MTAB can provide additional support and security to customers with sensitive and valuable items. We can e.g. offer advice on how your item should be packed, handled or installed. We can also assist with condition reports and sewing of works before lending and exhibitions as well as during installation and project management.

Packing Technology
We design and manufacture custom-made packaging and transport crates that protect artworks and other fragile objects during transport and storage.

We plan, structure, construct packaging materials and manage logistics flows. We function test, configure and pack for safe transport.
During
With specially designed vehicles and trained personnel, we transport sensitive goods in the Nordic region and around the world.
After
We ensure that your items reach all the way to use through services such as unpacking, installation and positioning. We also offer removal and recycling of packaging.
