MTAB has moved into new purpose-built facilities in Taastrup, just outside Copenhagen, bringing together warehouse, logistics and office operations across more than 10,000 square metres. The new setup is designed to offer customers greater flexibility, higher security and more integrated services.

The facility enables a broader range of services to be carried out on site. Customers have access to dedicated technical spaces, conservation services, meeting areas and showroom facilities, making it possible to plan, prepare and execute projects within the same environment. The facility is also designed to accommodate different needs over time, including the possibility to rent dedicated spaces tailored to specific projects or requirements.

– As soon as an object is stored here, it does not need to leave the building unless absolutely necessary. Conservation, preparation and technical work can all be carried out on site, often in close collaboration with the customer. This reduces the need for unnecessary transport and handling, while giving customers greater flexibility and control throughout the process, says Jørgen Jul Jensen, Country Manager Denmark.

The building meets high security standards and is equipped with advanced fire protection systems, ensuring safe conditions for sensitive and valuable objects. Climate systems are carefully controlled to maintain stable conditions while optimising energy use, making the facility suitable for both Fine Art and High-Tech logistics.
