Strengthening our international network: Hasenkamp becomes shareholder in MTAB

We are pleased to share that as of July 16, the Hasenkamp Group has become a minority shareholder in MTAB, acquiring a 25% stake in the company. The Fors family remains majority owner, and MTAB will continue to be run independently under the leadership of CEO Simon Fors.
This strategic move builds on a trusted collaboration between MTAB and Hasenkamp that has developed over many years – especially in the field of Fine Art logistics. The closer partnership enables us to strengthen our joint capabilities in Europe, benefit from shared knowledge, and collaborate more effectively on areas such as international transport and strategic sourcing.
– Hasenkamp has been an important partner to MTAB for a long time. This step allows us to deepen that collaboration while remaining fully independent. We share a commitment to quality and long-term relationships and this partnership is a way to strengthen our offer to the Nordic market even further”
Simon Fors – CEO for MTAB.
It is important to underline that MTAB continues to operate as an independent company, making its own strategic and operational decisions. There will be no changes to our daily operations, team, leadership or customer offering. Our clients can expect the same level of service, with the added value of increased international coordination where relevant.
As part of the investment, Dr. Thomas Georg Schneider, CEO of Hasenkamp, has joined MTAB’s Board of Directors. Hasenkamp is a family-owned logistics group founded in 1903, with more than 1,000 employees across 40+ locations in 28 countries. Like MTAB, the company specialises in sensitive and high-value logistics, including Fine Art, Relocation, Archive Storage, and High-Tech transport.
We look forward to this next chapter in our development – and to continuing to serve our clients with the same focus on quality, care and reliability.
